On January 6, 2015, the Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors approved, by a 4 to 1 vote, a new contract between the County and the Association.  The details of the contract are set forth in the "Board Letter" which is attached here: Rev 1-6-15 Bd Ltr Terms and Conditions Employmt DDAA

The actual raises in pay are effective as of January 5 and should be reflected in the paychecks for that pay period when received (in about 2 - 3 weeks).

The contract also awards retroactive step and/or merit increases back to each Association members anniversary month in 2014.  The retroactive pay will be paid in a lump sum before March 1, 2015.

This was a protracted negotiation that ultimately was resolved by the County agreeing to a fair contract.  The Association members stuck together to force the County to pay the Deputy D.A.'s the same salaries as the County is paying the Deputy County Counsel.
